#GivingTuesday

Today is “Giving Tuesday,” a national and worldwide campaign to create a national day of giving to start off the holiday season by celebrating and supporting charitable organizations and nonprofits.

Started by the United Nations Foundation and 92d Street Y, Giving Tuesday finds a way to give back and promote positive actions in the holiday season. After all of the rush of Thanksgiving sales, Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals, Giving Tuesday is a breath of fresh air that does the opposite—it promotes giving back to the community, donating to charitable organizations, volunteering your time and giving wherever possible.

As an organization focused on giving back to the local community, we would like to ask you to consider how you can make a difference this “Giving Tuesday.”  Our team is giving back all year long and especially this holiday season.  In a few weeks we will be making our first weekend bag drop, right here in our back yard at Grove Junior High.  Thanks to all our loyal customers, we are looking forward to bringing food and smiles to over 300 children in need.
