Feeding Our Friends During COVID-19

“Home” is not just the house we live in, but it’s also the communities in which we reside. Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group, with its Our Local Love initiative, is partnering with That’s Caring and our local food banks to help make home a better place in these trying times. 

The economic impact of COVID-19 is likely to increase rates of food insecurity in our community. Closures of businesses and schools, social distancing, and self-quarantines may affect many of our neighbors, particularly the most vulnerable: older adults, health-compromised individuals, and hourly workers. 

That’s Caring has created “quarantine snack packs” that include yummy treats to enjoy while you’re staying at home. There’s even a pack with wine that can be enjoyed during those popular “virtual happy hours”. There’s nothing wrong with treating yourself in a time like this, especially when it’s taking care of our friends that may be less fortunate during this crisis.
